These rates are in effect as of July 1, 2014.  All services are performed COD, paid for at the time of service via cash or check.   As a general rule we do not invoice.  Because we do not carry accounts, we are able to keep our prices lower than our competitors. 


  • Regular Rate - $100 per hour, prorated after the first hour, for on-site visits to your office, usually a 1 to 2 day lead time necessary.  In nearly every case we can provide service within 15 minutes of the time we specify.  No more waiting through a "four-hour window" when your time is precious!
  • Express Service Rate - $200 per hour, for the "drop what we're doing" service, usually within 1 hour.  Not many folks need to use this kind of service, but we'll provide it if you need it.  This is available 24/7 if necessary for your business.
  • Per Station Rate - If you'd prefer a regular monthly option, we provide complete preventive maintenance support at $80 per computer (aka "station") per month.  For instance, a computer lab with 8 computers in it would cost $640 per month.  A real estate office with 5 computers would cost $400 a month.  It sounds expensive, but this service includes all the following:
    • Windows Updates
    • System Security Check for open ports and other security issues that could compromise your computers
    • Adobe Acrobat, Real Player, Adobe Air, iTunes, and Flash Updates
    • Virus Scan
    • File Corruption Check to make sure your computer is running smoothly
    • File Defragment - Keeps your computer running fast and saves hard drive wear and tear
    • Dust blow-out to make sure your computers don't overheat
  • Travel - Travel is included in the rates above, for San Francisco, San Mateo County south to Redwood City and Pacifica.  Marin and Eastbay west of the Berkeley Hills are a $10 flat surcharge, and east of the Berkeley Hills, a $20 flat surcharge
  • 60-Day Guarantee - a 60-day guarantee on our work is included in all rates above.  Hardware guarantees are separate and depend on the hardware involved.  As around.  You'll find that not even Geek Squad gives a 60-day guarantee.  But we're so certain that we do a good job that we're not afraid to offer an extended guarantee.
  • Terms
    • COD, that is, cash on delivery, unless we have made prior arrangements with you to verify your credit
    • Payments may be made via personal check or cash.  Company checks also accepted in most cases
  • Receipt or Statement
    • Normally we do not provide a receipt at the time of service, but we do keep records on every transaction and will gladly email you a PDF copy of your statement, including the exact work we did and any hardware charges.  We keep these for an extended period of time, so you can contact us at any time for a copy.
